Curzon Hall Historic Mansion

Set on three acres of manicured gardens only 30 minutes from the centre of Sydney. Construction of the original mansion began in the late 1800’s and was completed in 1900 as a private residence for Sydney businessman, Harry Smith and his wife Isabella Curzon Webb, a family member of Lord Curzon, Viceroy of India at that time. In 1922 it was purchased by the Vincentian Fathers, used as a Catholic Seminary and then in 1983 became a function venue, offering memorable weddings ever since. If your heart’s desire is a fairytale wedding, this unique manor will make your romantic dreams come true!

The remarkable Curzon Hall is a unique Sydney landmark that stands on three acres of perfumed gardens, the ultimate location for your fairy-tale wedding. On arrival, be enchanted by the many wonderful elements of Victorian grandeur; sandstone turrets, sweeping cedar staircase, ornate fountains, cathedral style ceilings and majestic crystal chandeliers.

The current owners actively sought to maintain the early 19th Century character and charm of Curzon Hall by keeping its original elements intact. Features such as the Victorian Italianate style colonnades and semi-circular arches, the sandstone parapets, the 100-year-old hand-cut stone flanking the ornate entry halls, the majestic detailed cathedral ceilings and marble fireplaces imbue the castle with old world romance that is sure to captivate your guests.

The property boasts a range of opulently appointed ballrooms both within the original sandstone building but also encompassing the modern addition of Lady Mary’s Pavilion; a multi-million dollar establishment brimming with sophistication and charm.

The seven pillar-less ballrooms can accommodate between 30 – 450 seated guests and include a range of stunning features; wrap around terraces, garden views, sweeping staircases, ornate chandeliers and polished parquetry dance floors.

Surrounding the castle are three enchanting gardens featuring professional landscaping and water features – the ideal locations for romantic garden functions.

The significant beauty of Curzon Hall combined with superior service makes it one of Sydney’s finest venues.
